Infinix has launched the GT 50 Pro as a new gaming-focused smartphone. It comes with a Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset, shoulder triggers, liquid cooling, and a 6,500mAh battery.
The phone is designed as a performance-first mid-range device. It runs on Android 16, has a 144Hz display, and includes modern gaming features.
The GT 50 Pro was announced for select global markets on April 24, 2026. It will first be available in Indonesia, with other regions expected later. Reports say that India may get the phone in May or June 2026, but this timing is not officially confirmed for all markets.
The phone has a 6.78-inch AMOLED LTPS display. It offers 1.5K resolution, up to 144Hz refresh rate, and high touch sampling support. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. It is also said to reach very high peak brightness, which helps in outdoor visibility.

Inside, the Infinix GT 50 Pro uses a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate processor with a Mali-G720 MC7 GPU. It comes with 12GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. This makes it strong in performance for its price range.
The camera setup includes a 50-megapixel main rear camera with OIS and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The front camera is 13 megapixels. This makes the phone suitable for everyday photos and video calls, even though gaming is its main focus.
One of the main highlights is the pressure-sensitive shoulder trigger system called the Pressure-Sense GT Trigger. It supports multiple pressure levels, fast response, and extra control options for games, media, and app shortcuts.

Infinix has also added HydroFlow liquid cooling and an in-house N1 network management chip. These help improve heat control and connectivity. The phone also has an IP64 rating, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, infrared blaster, in-display fingerprint sensor, and an X-axis linear motor.
The battery is another strong feature. It has a 6,500mAh capacity with 45W wired charging and reverse wired charging support. Some reports also mention wireless charging and bypass charging using the GT MagCharge Cooler 2.0 accessory. This is useful for longer gaming sessions with less heat.

In short, the Infinix GT 50 Pro is a feature-rich gaming phone. It is made for users who want strong performance, a fast display, a big battery, and special gaming controls at a mid-range price.
