They shared a teaser video on their official X account, showing off the back panel, buttons, and extras. This gives fans a crystal-clear look at what's coming when it hits global markets on April 21, 2026.

What's really exciting is that this is the first OPPO Ultra phone launching outside China a huge move in their worldwide plans. They're unveiling the Find X9 Ultra and the smaller Find X9s Pro on the same day, but the Pro version will stay China-only.

Let's talk design first. OPPO confirmed three colors: Canyon Orange, Polar Glacier White, and Tundra Umber. The Tundra Umber stands out as the top pick it has a two-tone back and big Hasselblad branding that makes it look like a real Hasselblad camera. The other two just have the classic Hasselblad "H" logo. That Canyon Orange, which popped up in a China Telecom listing before, has a rough, sandy texture like dunes on the back  feels great in your hand.

The back is all about that huge round camera bump. OPPO says the Find X9 Ultra packs a 200MP Sony LYT-901 main camera, a 200MP 3x periscope telephoto for zoom, a 50MP 10x periscope zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide. The 10x one uses a fancy five-reflection setup with a 1/2.76-inch 50MP Samsung JNL sensor, 230mm focal length, and f/3.5 aperture. The 200MP 3x telephoto has a bigger 1/1.2-inch sensor, f/2.2 aperture, and 70mm focal length. Up front, there's a 50MP selfie camera. OPPO even claims the main 200MP shooter matches a 1-inch sensor from pro cameras.

The video also showed off the Hasselblad Earth Explorer Master Set. a photography bundle with a grip like a real camera and a 300mm teleconverter lens that clips onto the 200MP 3x periscope. It's modeled after the Hasselblad X2D 100C Earth Explorer Limited Edition and includes a special certificate with a unique serial number perfect for collectors. Not clear yet if it's in the box or sold extra.

Inside, it's a beast. Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. The screen is a 6.78-inch 2K 144Hz AMOLED with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner under it. Size is 163.04 x 76.91 x 9.15mm, and it weighs 238 grams. The screen includes super-low 1-nit brightness to make it comfy in dark rooms, and it's powered by ColorOS 16 on top of Android 16. Power comes from a 7,050mAh battery with 100W wired charging and 50W wireless.

You'll find a Snap Key on the top left for quick AI Mind Space access, plus an IR blaster, dual speakers, x-axis linear motor, and satellite connectivity on the 16GB/1TB version.  It's tough too, with IP66, IP68, and IP69K ratings against water and dust.

In India, leaks say it might not arrive until after May 2026, while Europe gets it right after the April 21 event.  It already has BIS certification here, so a local launch looks likely.  Prices could start at Rs 85,000 to Rs 95,000 for the base, with top storage over Rs 1 lakh.

OPPO's going all-in with the Find X9 Ultra against big rivals like Xiaomi 17 Ultra, Vivo X300 Ultra, and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra in the super-premium camera phone game. The April 21 event will nail down final prices, availability, and specs.
