The new design will change how ChatGPT looks. It will add fresh prompts and features that gently guide users toward coding with Codex, making images, and opening partner apps like Canva and Booking.com.

Codex, OpenAI’s tool for writing code, will get more attention and support because most people who use Codex already pay for it. OpenAI sees Codex as a key way to earn money as it moves closer to going public.

At the same time, OpenAI has reportedly filed secret paperwork for a possible stock market listing in the United States, but it has not set a clear date and says going public will depend on market conditions and whether it is the right move for the business.
