Verizon Quietly Confirms Wear OS 7 Is Coming Soon to Pixel Watch 2, 3, and 4

Google’s Wear OS 7 update looks set to arrive soon for some Pixel Watch models, after Verizon updated support pages that list the Pixel Watch 2, Pixel Watch 3, and Pixel Watch 4 as getting a new build labeled CP2A.260603.001. The pages show June 9 as the release date, though Google has not yet made an official announcement.

Wear OS 7 was shown at Google I/O 2026 and is based on Android 17. It brings a refreshed look with Wear Widgets and focuses on saving battery and improving overall performance. Verizon’s listing also notes the update includes the June 2026 security patch and various stability fixes.

Key features announced by Google include Gemini-powered tools and Live Updates, which let apps show live information directly on the watch face. The update also adds a Wear Workout Tracker that uses heart-rate data and adds media controls for workouts.Media controls across the system are improved, and a new Remote Output Switcher lets you change where audio plays from the watch.

Wear OS 7 will let certain phone app tasks run from the watch and let you track those automated actions without picking up your phone. If Verizon’s pages are correct, owners of the listed Pixel Watch models should see the update soon. When it arrives, back up any important data, charge or place the watch on its charger, and use Wi-Fi to download and install the update smoothly.
