OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra Brings Massive 8600mAh Battery and 165Hz Gaming Power

OnePlus has created a lot of excitement among smartphone fans by sharing new details about its upcoming Ace 6 Ultra. This phone is specially made for gamers and heavy users who need strong and long-lasting battery power.

The company revealed that it has a very large 8,600mAh battery with super-fast 120W wired charging. With just 10 minutes of charging, you can get up to two hours of gameplay. OnePlus says a full charge can give around seven hours of continuous gaming, which is great for long gaming sessions without worrying about battery.

The special thing about this battery is Oppo’s Glacier Battery Energy Concentration chip. This chip works in the background to improve battery performance. At normal room temperature, it gives about 200mAh extra usable power compared to phones without this feature. In very cold conditions, it can provide up to 700mAh more backup. It also helps the battery stay healthy over many charging cycles and keeps games running smoothly even when the battery is low, solving common gaming problems.

The OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra is built for serious gaming, not just battery power. It has a smooth 1.5K BOE display with a 165Hz refresh rate. It supports full DCI-P3 color range, shows 1.07 billion colors, and has 450ppi sharpness. It also includes Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and strong Crystal Shield Glass protection.

The Lingxi Touch chip improves touch response up to 4,000Hz for fast and accurate control. For better connectivity, it has a G2 Pro Wi-Fi chip and a 360-degree gaming antenna system with 11 high-performance antennas, including five made specially for gaming.

In terms of design, users can choose between two styles. The Ace Awakening version has a 3D stereoscopic light effect on the back, while the Metal Storm version has a more solid and simple look. The phone is highly durable with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.

It also includes an in-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and dual speakers for better sound. Geekbench tests show that it runs on the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor with up to 16GB RAM. It scored 3,159 in single-core and 9,694 in multi-core tests, making it suitable for heavy games at 165fps.

This phone runs on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, offering new features and improvements. OnePlus will launch the Ace 6 Ultra in China on April 28 at 7pm local time (4:30pm IST). Pre-reservations are already open there. It also works well with accessories like the new OnePlus Buds Ace 3 and a branded gaming controller shown with it.

Right now, the launch is only for China, but people in India and other countries are watching closely. Some earlier Ace models were released globally under the Nord name, but there is no confirmation for India yet.

Leaks and certifications support these details. The phone is expected to have a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor, stereo speakers, and UFS 4.0 storage. It may come with up to 16GB RAM and 256GB or more storage. It is expected to be priced in the high mid-range segment and compete with phones like the Redmi K90 Ultra, which has similar Dimensity 9500 power.

As April 2026 sees many launches from Vivo, Realme, and others, the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra stands out as a strong battery and gaming-focused smartphone. More details will be clear after its real-world testing following the launch.
