Vivo Y6t Launched in China with 6500mAh Battery, Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 and 120Hz Display

Vivo has introduced its new affordable 5G smartphone, the Y6t, in China. It is made for people who want a long battery life and good everyday performance without spending too much money. The phone has a very large 6,500mAh battery, which can last long for activities like streaming, gaming, and calling.

It also has a strong body that is certified by SGS for high-level protection against drops and shocks. The phone is currently available for pre-order on Vivo’s official China website and will be available in stores starting April 27. Buyers can choose from colors like Flowing Clouds White, Sunset Blue, and Twilight Black.

The price of the Vivo Y6t starts at CNY 1,699 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version, which is about Rs. 23,300. There are also higher variants: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 6GB RAM + 256GB storage, both priced at CNY 1,899 (around Rs. 26,000). The phone runs on the 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, along with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, which helps apps load quickly and allows smooth multitasking. 

It comes with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. The device has a 6.74-inch HD LCD display with a resolution of 720x1600 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate, making scrolling and videos look smooth. It can reach up to 1200 nits brightness, so the screen stays clear even in sunlight.

For cameras, the phone has a 13-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture and autofocus, which is suitable for clear photos in daylight and can record videos in 1080p. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The phone supports modern connectivity features like dual-SIM 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. 

It also includes useful extras such as a 3.5mm headphone jack, OTG reverse charging, and an infrared remote control for TVs and appliances. For security, it has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock. Other sensors include proximity, ambient light, gravity, and an electronic compass.

The Vivo Y6t is built with dimensions of 167.40mm in height, 77.10mm in width, and 8.39mm in thickness, and it weighs 209 grams. It is designed to handle everyday drops and bumps, supported by its SGS 5-star rating. The phone supports 15W wired charging, which helps keep charging simple and reliable. This makes it a good choice for students, commuters, and anyone who needs a dependable phone. 

Currently, it is launched only in China, but many people are watching to see if it will come to countries like India, where Vivo Y-series phones are popular for offering good features at affordable prices. This launch shows Vivo’s focus on entry-level 5G smartphones with strong battery life.
