Oppo has launched two new tablets in China called the Pad 5 Pro and the Pad Mini. These were introduced on April 21, 2026, and will soon be available on Oppo’s China online store.
Both tablets run on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, which helps them work smoothly in daily use. The Pad 5 Pro is the top model, with a strong Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, a very large 13,380mAh battery for long use, and options going up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
This high-end tablet comes in three colors and has a hole-punch design for the front camera, making video calls and selfies clear and easy. It also supports fast charging, possibly up to 80W, and has a slim body of about 5.94mm thickness, making it comfortable to hold for work or entertainment. Other storage options include 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and even 16GB + 512GB, so users can choose based on their needs like multitasking, gaming, or storing many files.

The Pad Mini is made for people who want a smaller and easy-to-carry device, similar to the iPad Mini. It has thin bezels and an 8.8-inch screen, along with a single 13-megapixel rear camera. It uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, giving good performance in a smaller size. It also has a hole-punch front camera. This tablet is useful for use while traveling, such as reading, browsing, or doing light work.
These tablets were launched along with other Oppo products like the Find X9 Ultra and Enco Chip 2 audio devices, showing that the company is expanding into tablets, wearables, and more. The prices have not been announced yet, but these tablets are designed to compete in the premium category with strong batteries and powerful processors.
