The update supports iPhone 11 and all later models including the entire iPhone SE lineup from 2020 and 2022, making sure Apple continues supporting the same devices as the previous update. iPhone 15 Pro models and newer devices will get Apple Intelligence features while some enhancements are exclusive to the flagship iPhone 17 Pro models.
The latest iOS 27 brings a new adjustment slider for Liquid Glass design language along with improvements to Photos and Mail apps that make the interface smoother and more modern.
Apple has finally unveiled its smarter Siri that was first promised at WWDC 2024, bringing a standalone Siri AI app with advanced search capabilities and improved child safety features. The update also includes automatic tab grouping which could be a game changer for users who manage multiple browser tabs on their iPhone.
Before installing iOS 27 Developer Beta 1 users must back up their data because these are pre-release versions that may contain bugs affecting performance battery life or causing data loss.

You need an Apple Developer account to access the update which you can create by visiting beta.apple.com tapping signup entering your Apple ID and accepting the terms and conditions. Log into your iPhone with that account first.
Then go to Settings, click General, tap Software Update, choose Beta Updates, and pick Developer Beta. This way your phone will download the new update. iOS 27 is scheduled for public release later this year so regular users don't need to install the beta version if they want a stable experience.
