TVS Motor Company achieved something special in May 2026. They sold 5,66,585 vehicles, which is the most they have ever sold in a single month. This number is 31.37% higher than the 4,31,275 units they sold in May 2025.

People in India and customers from other countries both bought more TVS vehicles. Their motorcycles, electric scooters, and three-wheelers all helped them reach this record .
In May 2026, TVS sold 5,43,111 two-wheeler vehicles. This is 30.50% more than the 4,16,166 units from May 2025. Motorcycles were the top seller with 2,73,802 units, showing 29.45% growth from last year.
Motorcycles accounted for 50.41% of the total two-wheeler sales. Scooters also grew well, going up 32.38% to 2,20,740 units from 1,66,749 units a year ago, and scooters made up 40.64% of total two-wheeler sales.

Electric scooters sold 43,362 units in May 2026, which is 55% more than the 27,976 units sold in May 2025. Electric scooters now make up close to 8% of all TVS two-wheeler sales. Mopeds sold 48,569 units, which is 28.11% more than the 37,912 units from last year .
In India, TVS sold 3,84,565 two-wheelers, which is 24.34% more than the 3,09,287 units from May 2025. Exports did even better, going up 48.34% to 1,58,546 units from 1,06,879 units a year ago.

Adding three-wheelers, total sales in India reached 3,90,594 units, up 24.86% from 3,12,838 units. Total exports of two-wheelers and three-wheelers reached 1,75,991 units, which is 48.59% more than 1,18,437 units. This is the best export result TVS has ever had .
Three-wheeler sales went up 55.36% to 23,474 units in May 2026 from 15,109 units in May 2025. In India, three-wheeler sales rose 69.78% to 6,029 units. Exports of three-wheelers grew 50.93% to 17,445 units. Over 74% of three-wheeler sales came from foreign markets.

Compared to April 2026, total sales went up 19.54% from 4,73,970 units to 5,66,585 units in May. Motorcycles saw the largest increase, going up 36.87% from 2,00,039 units to 2,73,802 units. Scooter sales went up 4.54%, and electric scooter sales grew 14.80%. Two-wheeler exports went up 48.47% compared to April 2026, and exports of both two-wheelers and three-wheelers together rose 46.65% from the month before .
TVS Motor Company started the 2026-27 financial year very well with record sales, strong export demand, and their highest electric vehicle sales ever. TVS keeps growing because more customers are buying their motorcycles, scooters, and electric vehicles, and they are also selling well in countries around the world.
