Vivo is getting ready to launch a new budget phone called the Vivo Y05e. This phone has been spotted in Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) certification database, which usually means the launch is very close.

The listing shows the model number V2606 and certification number B38389-26. It confirms that the phone supports 4G networks including GSM, WCDMA, and LTE, and that it is made in China. Since devices usually get certified just before they go on sale, more official details about the Vivo Y05e are expected soon.
Reports say the Vivo Y05e will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It is also expected to run Android 16 with Vivo’s own OriginOS 6 skin on top.

The phone was earlier seen on the U.S. FCC database with a 5,050mAh battery, which is smaller than the battery in the regular Vivo Y05 but still large enough for normal daily use. Charging speed is likely to be basic, matching the entry-level position of the phone in Vivo’s range.
The Vivo Y05e will be placed below the Vivo Y05 in Vivo’s market lineup, making it one of the cheapest phones in the Y series. The existing Vivo Y05 4G in India is priced at ₹12,999 for the 4GB + 64GB version and comes in Champagne Gold and Midnight Blue colors.

That phone has a 6.74-inch LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, an 8MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera, IP65 dust and water resistance, and a 6,500mAh battery with 15W fast charging and reverse charging support. Compared to this, the Y05e will likely have a smaller battery and a simpler overall setup while still using the same Android 16 + OriginOS 6 software.
If you are looking for a low-cost Vivo phone with a recent version of Android, the Y05e seems like a good option to wait for. The NBTC certification proves the phone is real and close to launch, even though Vivo has not given an exact date or full specifications yet.
Once the official announcement comes, buyers will know the exact display size, camera details, processor, and price, but right now the picture is of a simple 4G phone built for everyday tasks like messaging, browsing, social media, video watching, and light gaming.
