OnePlus is launching two new budget smartphones in India from its Nord series. The OnePlus Nord CE 6 and Nord CE 6 Lite will officially launch on May 7 at 12pm IST. These phones are made for users who want good performance at a lower price. The company has already shared some details to create excitement before the launch.
After the launch, the Nord CE 6 will be available for sale from May 8 at 12pm IST, while the Nord CE 6 Lite will go on sale from May 12 at the same time. Both phones can be bought from Amazon India, the official OnePlus website, OnePlus stores, and offline shops across the country.

Both devices come with very large batteries. The Nord CE 6 comes with an 8,000mAh battery and supports 27W reverse charging, allowing it to charge other devices. The Nord CE 6 Lite has a 7,000mAh battery, which is also very big for its price range. Both phones have a 50-megapixel rear camera, and the Nord CE 6 also includes a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
The Nord CE 6 is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor and runs on Android 16 with OxygenOS. It has a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling. It also includes dual stereo speakers and strong durability features like water and dust resistance along with military-grade certification.

The Nord CE 6 Lite uses a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Apex processor, which is suitable for basic tasks. It focuses on essential features like battery and camera. The Nord CE 6 comes in Fresh Blue, Lunar Pearl, and Pitch Black colors, while the Lite version comes in Vivid Mint and Hyper Black.
The expected price of the Nord CE 6 Lite is between Rs. 20,000 and Rs. 25,000, with some lower starting prices suggested. The Nord CE 6 may start between Rs. 24,999 and Rs. 26,990. These phones aim to compete strongly with other brands in the under Rs. 30,000 segment and are designed for daily use, especially for students and young professionals.
