Oppo Find X9 Ultra Launched with 200MP Cameras, Massive 7050mAh Battery, India Launch Soon

Oppo has introduced its new top smartphone, the Find X9 Ultra, in China. This phone brings big improvements in camera technology and battery life. It is part of the Find X9 series, along with the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro.

The phone is made especially for people who love photography and heavy usage. It was released in China on April 21, 2026. Oppo has said it will launch in India next month, and details for other countries will be shared soon.

The Find X9 Ultra comes with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. It has up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. This makes the phone very fast for gaming, multitasking, and heavy apps. It has a large 6.82-inch flexible AMOLED display with a sharp resolution of 1,440 × 3,168 pixels. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling, reaches up to 1,800 nits brightness for outdoor use, and shows rich colors with 10-bit color support.

For cameras, the phone has a strong quad-camera setup tuned by Hasselblad. It includes a 200-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, and a 50-megapixel ultra-telephoto camera. 

This setup allows 10x optical zoom and up to 120x digital zoom. It also supports features like XPAN mode, 8K video at 30fps, 4K video at 120fps, and Dolby Vision recording. There is also a special lens for better color accuracy. The front camera is 50 megapixels and works well for selfies and video calls.

The battery is very large at 7,050mAh, which can easily last all day or more. It supports 100W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging. For security, it has a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the display. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, NFC, and satellite features like Tiantong in some models. The phone runs on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 and is expected to receive long-term software updates.

The price starts at CNY 7,499 (around Rs. 1,03,000) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model. Other options include:

  • 12GB + 512GB at CNY 7,999 (around Rs. 1,10,000)
  • 16GB + 512GB at CNY 8,499 (around Rs. 1,17,000)
  • 16GB + 1TB at CNY 9,299 (around Rs. 1,27,000)
  • Special edition at CNY 9,499 (around Rs. 1,30,000)

The phone comes in three colors: Polar Glaciers, Rongsha Canyon, and Tundra. Sales started in China on April 24, and pre-orders are already open. Extra camera accessories are also available for professional users.

At the same time, Oppo also launched the Pad 5 Pro tablet, which uses the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and has a large 13,380mAh battery. Vivo has launched a budget 5G phone called the Y6t, which has a 6,500mAh battery and Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor for users who want long battery life at a lower price.
