The Oppo Reno 16 Pro is getting a lot of attention because of new leaks. A tipster named Yogesh Brar shared some important details on X. The phone may launch in July or August 2026. This is soon after the Reno 15 series launched in China in November and came to India in January, showing Oppo releases new phones quickly.
The global version of the Oppo Reno 16 Pro will have a 6.32-inch OLED display, which is the same size as the previous model. However, the Chinese Reno 15 Pro has a bigger 6.78-inch screen. The phone is expected to have a triple camera setup with a 200MP main camera. The Reno 15 Pro already had strong cameras, including a 200MP main camera, 50MP ultra-wide, 50MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP front camera.

The Reno 16 Pro will also include an action button, similar to what is seen on recent OnePlus phones. This button can be used for shortcuts like opening the camera or turning on the flashlight. The phone will have a glass and aluminum body, making it look premium and strong. Its battery may improve slightly from the Reno 15 Pro’s 6,500mAh battery, which already supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
For performance, the phone may use the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ or Dimensity 9500s chipset. It will come in different storage options like 12GB or 16GB RAM, and storage up to 1TB. Users will also get color options like black, green, purple, and white.

Earlier leaks also suggested that the Reno 16 series will launch in the second half of 2026. This series may include Reno 16, Reno 16 Pro Mini, and Reno 16 Pro Max. The Reno 15 Pro was priced at ₹67,999 in India and had a Dimensity 8450 chip and strong battery. If the Reno 16 Pro comes with these upgrades, it could compete with phones like the OnePlus 13 series and Vivo V50.
Oppo has not officially confirmed anything yet, but these leaks from trusted sources are creating excitement. More details may come soon, and this phone could be a strong option for daily use.
