Realme C81 is getting ready to launch in India as a new budget smartphone, based on recent leaks and reports from tech websites. The phone is expected to be cheap and focused on long battery life.
It is meant for people who mainly need calling, messaging, and light usage without spending much money. The details are not official yet, but many websites have shared similar information about its design, hardware, and expected price in April 2026.
The Realme C81 is believed to be a renamed version of the Realme Note 80, which has already launched in some countries with the model number RMX5388. This means the C81 will likely use the same main features as the Note 80 but will be adjusted for the Indian budget market under the C-series name. This follows Realme’s usual strategy of taking phones from other markets and changing them slightly for local pricing, colours, and software.
On the hardware side, the phone is expected to have a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. This will make scrolling on social media and browsing smoother compared to older 60Hz screens in this price range. The brightness is said to go up to 563 nits, which should help when using the phone outdoors for basic tasks like watching videos or browsing. The processor is expected to be the Unisoc T7250, along with 4GB RAM. This setup is good for daily apps and light multitasking but not for heavy gaming or demanding work.

Realme has not officially announced the launch date yet, but many reports say it could launch in late April or early May 2026. It will likely be available both online and offline across India. The company is expected to highlight the phone’s big battery, 90Hz display, strong durability, and 5G support as its main features, especially for users who care more about daily use than gaming or camera performance.
