Vivo X300 Ultra & FE India Launch: Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, Zeiss Zoom Kits, 6500mAh Beast Unveiled Soon

Vivo is all set to release its two fresh smartphones in India shortly the X300 Ultra and X300 FE. The company has shared official teasers confirming this. These phones first came out in places like China and Russia earlier this year, creating a lot of excitement.

Now, Indian buyers can expect them with special camera systems tuned by Zeiss and cool external telephoto extender kits that clip on for better zoom photos. Leaks have shown storage options and real-life pictures of the X300 FE with its silver telephoto accessory, which has clear Zeiss branding and sells separately.

Recent tips from experts on social media site X say the Vivo X300 FE will offer two main versions in India. Both have 12GB of RAM, but one comes with 256GB storage and the other with 512GB. This is the same as what launched abroad, where the basic model cost about RUB 60,124, or roughly Rs 71,000, and the bigger storage one was RUB 64,405, around Rs 76,000.

It runs on Qualcomm's powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, which handles gaming, switching apps, and daily tasks smoothly. The screen is a 6.31-inch LTPO AMOLED with 1,216x2,640 pixels and up to 120Hz refresh rate, giving bright colors and smooth scrolling.

For cameras, there's a pill-shaped back module with two 50-megapixel sensors plus a strong 50MP front camera, all improved by Zeiss lenses for sharp, pro-like pictures. It packs a massive 6,500mAh battery that easily lasts all day, plus Android 16 pre-installed for instant access to the latest features and updates.

The telephoto extender kit makes it even better for photos, adding 200mm 2G2 zoom that attaches easily to the back, like a small photography pro tool. Vivo has created special pages on Flipkart, Amazon, and their own Indian website, so sales will start there after launch. No exact date yet, but talks in the industry suggest a reveal around May 7, with sales possibly from May 14.

Colors include green, lavender, white, and gold, as teased. The X300 Ultra is the top model, coming with a more advanced ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra and a round camera setup, keeping the premium Zeiss partnership for amazing image quality that beats many regular cameras.

This launch happens as India's smartphone market faces some tough times, with shipments in Q1 2026 down 3 percent from last year, hitting a six-year low. Vivo still leads overall. Things like higher prices and less demand hurt sales, but brands like Nothing jumped 47 percent, and high-end phones did well. Vivo picks a good moment to bring the X300 series, aiming at buyers who want top cameras and long battery life.

On the rival side, Oppo's Find X9s Pro is getting buzz before its April 21 debut in China, with rumors of a 6.32-inch 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED screen, MediaTek Dimensity 9500 or 9600 Pro chip, two 200MP cameras, up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, plus a 7,025mAh battery, though no word on India yet.
