Vivo X500 Pro Max Leak Reveals 200MP Zoom Camera, LOFIC Sensor and 7000mAh Battery

Vivo is preparing to launch its new flagship smartphone series called the X500 lineup, and leaks suggest that the main highlight will be the Vivo X500 Pro Max.

According to tipsters on Chinese platforms like Weibo, this top model may bring very powerful camera features that could set new standards in mobile photography. The phone is expected to launch later this year, following the success of the earlier X300 series released in late 2025 and early 2026.

The Vivo X500 Pro Max is expected to have a very strong camera system. It may include a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, which helps take clear and detailed photos from far distances without losing quality.

Along with this, there could be a 50-megapixel main camera using LOFIC technology. LOFIC (Lateral Overflow Integration Capacitor) helps the camera manage very bright scenes better by capturing extra light and preventing photos from looking too bright or washed out.

This LOFIC sensor works by directing extra light from bright areas into a special storage part, which improves the camera’s ability to capture both dark and bright details in a single photo. This means better pictures in situations like bright sunlight or sunsets. Leaks also suggest a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a multispectral sensor that improves colors and white balance, making photos look more natural directly from the camera.

The phone may be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro processor, which is expected to give smooth performance, better AI features, and efficient gaming and daily use. It could also come with a large 7,000mAh battery, which should last more than a full day even with heavy use. Fast charging might be very quick as well, possibly supporting up to 120W charging speed.

For display, the X500 series might offer different screen sizes, including a smaller 6.4-inch version and a larger 6.9-inch or 6.85-inch screen for the Pro Max. These displays are expected to be LTPO OLED with 2K resolution and up to 144Hz refresh rate, making scrolling smooth while saving battery. The phone may also include an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, which works better than optical sensors, especially with wet fingers or in low light.

The X500 series could include three models: X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max. The company may skip the X400 name due to cultural reasons in China. The launch is expected around September 2026 in China, possibly at the same time as Xiaomi’s 18 series, and it may come to India and other countries soon after, competing with brands like Samsung, OnePlus, and Oppo.

Earlier leaks also mentioned a new Sony LYT-838 sensor for the main camera, which supports the LOFIC technology and may improve low-light and HDR performance. The front camera might be 50 megapixels, suitable for clear selfies and video calls. Overall, the Vivo X500 Pro Max is expected to be a powerful phone focused on camera performance, strong battery life, and high-quality display.

However, all this information comes from leaks and tipsters like Smart Pikachu, and Vivo has not officially confirmed the details yet. Some features may change before the final release. Still, the expected 200MP zoom camera and LOFIC sensor have created excitement among tech fans, especially after the success of the previous X300 Ultra. More updates are expected as the launch date gets closer.
