Realme will launch the Realme 16T 5G in India on May 22, 2026, at 12 pm IST. The company shared the launch date on X. The phone will be sold on Flipkart, the Realme India online store, and in offline shops.
The Realme 16T 5G joins the Realme 16 series. The series already has the Realme 16, Realme 16 Pro, and Realme 16 Pro+. Pages for the phone are already live on the company website and on Flipkart.
The Realme 16T 5G will come in three colours. These are Starlight Red, Starlight Black, and a blue colour. The phone has a flat back with a square camera box. The camera box has two rear cameras, an LED flash, and a selfie mirror. The power button and volume buttons are on the right side.
The big feature of the Realme 16T 5G is its 8,000mAh Titan battery. Realme says the battery can last up to three days on one charge based on its own heavy-use test. The company claims 14.3 hours of gaming, 34 hours of social media use, and 21.9 hours of navigation on a full charge.
Realme also claims seven-year battery health for this phone. The phone supports 45W fast charging. It has reverse charging and All-Scenario Bypass Charging. It also has Advanced Temperature Protection and Overcharge Protection to keep charging safe.

Even with the 8,000mAh battery, the Realme 16T 5G is 8.88mm thick. It has a flat 6.8-inch screen. The phone frame has a metallic finish and the camera box uses aluminum alloy. The phone is made for people who need long battery life for video, maps, and gaming. Realme says the phone can run _Battlegrounds Mobile India_ for up to 11 hours at a steady 60 frames per second.
Leaks say the Realme 16T 5G may use a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip. The chip has two fast cores at 2.4GHz and six power-saving cores at 2GHz. The phone may have at least 8GB of RAM and run Android 16. It may use a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU for graphics. Storage options may be 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB. The phone is said to have IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water protection.

For cameras, the Realme 16T 5G may have a 50MP main camera and a 2MP second camera on the back. There is a selfie mirror on the back panel to help take selfies with the main camera. Realme will share full specs and India pricing at the launch on May 22. The Realme 16T price in India is expected to start under Rs 27,000 without offers.
