Asus has launched three new Chromebooks in India: the CM32 Detachable, CM14, and CM15. All of them run on ChromeOS and use the MediaTek Kompanio 540 processor with up to 8GB of RAM.

These laptops are made for students and young people who need simple, secure devices for online classes, video calls, writing, and watching videos. The CM32 Detachable is special because it can work as both a laptop and a tablet.
It has a 12.1-inch touchscreen with 2.5K resolution (2560×1600 pixels), 600 nits brightness, and 98% DCI-P3 color. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass and supports stylus use.

It has a 5MP front camera and a 5MP rear camera, a detachable keyboard with a touchpad, and a 42Wh battery that lasts up to 12 hours. It is built to meet military-grade durability standards (MIL-STD-810H) and starts at ₹37,990. It is already available for pre-order.
The CM14 is the smallest and cheapest option, starting at ₹26,990. It has a 14-inch Full-HD screen (1920×1080 pixels) with 300 nits brightness, and you can choose between touchscreen or non-touchscreen versions.

It has an 180-degree hinge that lets the screen lie flat so multiple people can see it. The 50Wh battery lasts up to 20 hours, and it comes with up to 256GB of storage. It also has military-grade durability, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB Type-C port.
The CM15 is similar to the CM14 but has a bigger 15.6-inch Full-HD screen. It starts at ₹28,990 and has a larger 63Wh battery that also lasts up to 20 hours. It keeps the same 180-degree hinge, military durability, and connectivity options. Both the CM14 and CM15 will be available for purchase starting June 19, 2026, on Asus E-shop and Amazon India.
Asus is giving free benefits to buyers of all three models. Everyone gets Google AI Pro features and 5TB of cloud storage for three months. The CM32 Detachable comes with a 45W power adapter and charges via USB Type-C.
All three Chromebooks get automatic updates, work with Android apps from the Play Store, and have built-in Google AI tools. These laptops are built to last, are very light, and focus on cloud storage, making them perfect for people who want simple and reliable computers without heavy software.
