Honor's Next Smartphone Could Shatter Records with 10,000-Nit Display and 10,000mAh Battery

Honor might be getting ready to launch a new smartphone that could break two big records at the same time.

A new leak from a Chinese expert named Digital Chat Station says this upcoming phone will have a battery bigger than 10,000mAh and a screen that can reach 10,000 nits of peak brightness.

If this is true, the phone would have the brightest screen ever on a smartphone and would join other Chinese brands that are now making phones with very large batteries. Honor has not said if this phone exists or when it will be released.

The person who shared this leak did not tell us the name of the phone or give any details about its processor, cameras, how fast it charges, or when it will launch. We only know what we read in a post on Weibo that was translated from Chinese.

The post only mentioned the huge battery and the very bright screen. Because Honor has not confirmed anything, we do not know if this phone is real or when it might come out.

Honor has already started making phones with very large batteries in the last few months. In December 2025, Honor launched the Win and Win RT models in China. Both have 10,000mAh batteries and screens with 6,000 nits peak brightness.

In May 2026, Honor also launched the Win Turbo in China, which has the same 10,000mAh battery but a brighter screen with 8,000 nits peak brightness. The new phone from the leak would have both a bigger battery claim and a brighter screen than any of these models.

We need to understand what peak brightness really means for normal use. The 10,000-nit number measures the brightest part of the screen under special test conditions, like when showing HDR video or in very bright sunlight. This number does not show how bright the screen feels during everyday use. So the screen will not actually look as bright as 10,000 nits when you use the phone normally.

This leak shows that Honor is focusing on making phones for people who want the best battery life. The Honor Power 2, another recent phone, has a 10,080mAh battery and 8,000 nits peak brightness. This shows Honor is already making batteries bigger than 10,000mAh. The new phone would continue this trend and try to have the brightest screen of any smartphone.

We expect to learn more about this phone before Honor makes an official statement. This includes whether the phone will only be sold in China or if it will come to other countries too. Until Honor confirms the phone, the 10,000-nit screen and 10,000mAh-plus battery are just claims from one expert. But these claims match the direction Honor has been taking with its recent phones.
