The A27 5G will take over from the Galaxy A26 5G and brings a new look with a centered hole-punch notch on the front and a pill-shaped triple-camera module on the back, next to an LED flash. It will come in four colors Black, Blue, Light Green, and Light Pink and offer two storage sizes: 128GB and 256GB. The base model is likely to have 6GB of RAM.
The phone has a large 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate, shows 16 million colors, and reaches up to 800 nits of peak brightness. This makes the screen sharp and smooth for daily use, watching videos, and playing games.
Inside, it uses Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, which runs up to 2.4GHz. This chip replaces the Exynos processor from the previous model and gives better performance for apps and light gaming. Samsung promises up to six major Android updates and six years of security updates. The phone will ship with Android 16-based One UI 8.5.
For photos, the back has a triple camera setup led by a 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization. It also includes a 5MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro camera.

On the front, there is a 12MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture for portraits and video calls. The phone measures 162.4×78.2×7.8mm, weighs about 200g, and has an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+.
Power comes from a 5,000mAh battery that Samsung says can last up to 23 hours of video playback on one charge. It supports 25W fast wired charging, which can charge the phone to about 45% in 30 minutes.
A fingerprint sensor on the side controls security. Other sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. For connectivity, the phone supports 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, Glonass, BeiDou, Galileo, and QZSS. It uses a USB Type-C port at the bottom and has a secondary microphone on top.

Samsung has not given an official global launch date yet, but the Czech listing shows the debut is very close. Early hints from Europe suggest the base model may cost slightly more than the A26. In India, the Galaxy A27 5G is expected to start between ₹25,000 and ₹30,000, depending on RAM and storage.
The phone will support dual SIM (hybrid tray) and include Samsung’s Awesome Intelligence features like Circle to Search, Object Eraser, and Voice Transcription. It also has Quick Share and Smart Switch for easy file sharing and moving data from old phones.
