Honor Win 2 and Win Pad Mini Leaked: Flagship Snapdragon Chip, 10,000 mAh Battery, 2K Screen, Ultra-High Refresh Rate, and Wireless Charging

Honor’s next gaming phone, the Win 2, is getting another round of leaks, and this time a small tablet called Win Pad Mini might arrive with it. The info comes from Digital Chat Station on Weibo, a leaker who has shared details on the Win 2 before.

This update says the phone will run on a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chip, though it does not say if that is the regular chip or the Pro version. It also says the phone will have a huge 10,000 mAh battery and will support wireless charging, which is not common in normal smartphones.

The display is a flat panel with “2K” resolution and an ultra-high refresh rate, built for very smooth gaming and fast motion. Instead of a side or under-screen sensor, the phone uses an embedded ultrasonic fingerprint scanner that unlocks quickly and stays secure.

On the rear, there is a telephoto camera, strong water resistance, powerful dual stereo speakers, a large vibration motor for haptics, and an internal cooling fan to stop the phone from getting too hot during long gaming sessions. All of these points show the device is made for serious mobile gamers who play for long hours.

The same leaker also says Honor is testing a compact tablet that could launch alongside the Win 2. This device may be called Win Pad Mini and will have an 8-inch OLED screen with very narrow bezels and an ultra-high refresh rate.

It is expected to be powered by a flagship-level Snapdragon 8 Elite-class processor. The Chinese post is not clear if this is the 2024 Snapdragon 8 Elite chip or a newer Gen 5 or Gen 6 version, so the exact processor is still unknown.

Because the wording is vague, it is still not certain if the tablet will actually be made, but more leaks should clarify the chipset and other details before any official launch. If the Win Pad Mini does come out, it would be Honor’s first small tablet with a high-refresh OLED screen, while the Win 2 aims to stand out as one of the most battery-heavy gaming phones thanks to its 10,000 mAh pack and wireless charging support.
