iQOO 15T Launch Set for May 20 With Dimensity 9500 Monster Edition and 8000mAh Battery

iQOO has said that the iQOO 15T will launch in China on May 20, 2026. The launch will happen at 7 pm China time, which is 4.30 pm IST. 

The iQOO 15T will be the first phone in the world to use the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Monster Edition chip. This is the first time the company is adding a ‘T’ model to its main phone series after the iQOO 15, iQOO 15 Ultra, and 15R.

For speed and gaming, the iQOO 15T will use the Dimensity 9500 Monster Edition chip. iQOO said the chip has special changes made by the company. It also has iQOO’s own Q3 gaming chip. The Q3 chip helps keep the game running smooth and uses less battery during big games.

The company says the phone can play games like Genshin Impact at almost full speed for up to 30 minutes. It will use less than 5W power during this. The phone tries to give strong speed for games without being too big or needing extra cooling.

The iQOO 15T has a 6.82-inch 2K flat screen. iQOO calls it an “Everest” screen. The screen has thin borders. Many new top phones now use 1.5K screens to save battery and make games run easier. The 15T uses a 2K screen to give a sharper look. The Q3 chip will help the phone show 2K picture and 144Hz speed at the same time while gaming.

The phone has a big 8,000mAh battery. It supports 100W fast charging with a wire. This battery is bigger than the iQOO 15 which had 7,000mAh in India. The iQOO 15R had 7,600mAh. The iQOO 15 Ultra had 7,400mAh. The big battery is for long gaming time.

For photos, iQOO said the phone has a 200MP main camera on the back. It also has a 50MP second camera. The front camera is 16MP. The phone looks like the iQOO 15 Ultra. It has a square camera area that looks clear. The phone will come in Qingyun, Track Edition, and Legend Edition colors.

The iQOO 15T may run on OriginOS 6. This is based on Android 16. The phone will weigh about 216 grams. iQOO has not said if the phone will come to India. The iQOO 15 came to India in November 2025. It started at Rs 72,999. It had a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, three 50MP cameras on the back, wireless charging, and a 2K 144Hz screen. 

The iQOO 15R came this year at Rs 44,999. It had a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, a 7,600mAh battery, and simple features. The iQOO 15T is between these two phones. Because of the new chip, larger battery, and gaming display, the price may be near the iQOO 15. But it is not sure if the phone will come to India.The iQOO 15T can now be pre-ordered in China. The phone will be fully shown on May 20, 2026.
