The leaked images show Dark Cherry, a soft red-pink shade that earlier reports say could become the main signature color for this year’s Pro models, along with a blue that looks deeper than past Pro blues and a black version that uses a two-tone design with a darker camera area on a matte back.
Silver was seen in earlier dummy units but is not in this latest leak. The photos come from tech journalist Jon Rettinger, who shared several angles of the alleged iPhone 18 Pro Max frame and back panel.
The design looks similar to the current Pro line, with past leaks pointing to only small changes around the camera and no big change in thickness compared to the earlier model. What stands out most is the color story, with Dark Cherry getting the most attention for mixing red and pink in a lighter, softer look than Apple’s usual red colors.
On the inside, industry reports link the iPhone 18 Pro series to Apple’s upcoming A20 Pro Bionic chip built on a 2nm process, along with a new C2 modem for better connectivity.

The Pro models are also expected to shrink the Dynamic Island slightly, giving a bit more usable screen space at the top, while battery capacities are likely to stay broadly similar to the current generation, though some rumors suggest the Pro Max could reach around 5,100–5,200 mAh, the largest battery ever in an iPhone.
Camera upgrades are coming, with Apple testing improved cameras for the Pro models and the Pro Max possibly getting a variable-aperture main lens like DSLRs. Pricing is another key point.
Even with these hardware changes, Apple may keep the iPhone 18 Pro Max at its current price level instead of raising it, with the 256GB model likely around $1,199, though some earlier reports mentioned “aggressive” pricing as component costs rise.
The phones are expected to launch in September 2026, and rumors also point to Apple’s first foldable iPhone possibly appearing at the same event. For anyone waiting on the iPhone 18 Pro Max, these leaks give a clearer look at the color options and confirm the general design path while pointing to real but not radical upgrades under the hood. The Dark Cherry finish, smaller Dynamic Island, new chip and modem, and possible camera advances are the main stories as Apple moves toward its fall launch.
